Firstly, my boyfriend's crank angle sensor broke and he was charged $700 for it to be fixed. We thought this was a bit pricey so he asked around. He got it replaced for $200 elsewhere. Secondly, I went to get my pink slip and was told I needed two new tyres because they were really bad. I needed my pink slip by the next day and the mechanic told me not to worry, that he could order them in for me - $180 each (I have a Hyundai Getz). Luckily I didn't pay for them because I called Bob Jane T-Mart and they said my tyres are worth $60 each. I took it into their workshop and one of the guys had a look at my tyres and said they weren't bad at all. I thought this were the case. I then took it next door to another mechanic and they gave me a pinkslip on the spot - said it passed with flying colours. Highlands Automotive Services played me - a young girl that doesn't know what she's talking about. They just wanted more money. Definitely don't recommend this service.
Professional, friendly, honest, timely, reasonably priced, local, taxi to and from home. Honestly what more do you want from a garage. Better service than many dealers I've been to.
